Contest Alert: Design the Yearbook Cover!

1/23/2017

Reminder that any entries for the All School Yearbook Custom Cover Contest are due to Mrs. B-Haynes by the end of school Wednesday the 25th.

All Dundee students have the opportunity to participate in creating a custom cover for the
Dundee 2016 - 17 yearbook.  Please be creative & colorful.

All entries must include:
The words “Dundee Wildcats” as part of/or in the art work
  1. The school year 2016 – 2017 should be part of or in the art work
  2. Entries should be 8.5 X 11” white paper (copy paper)
  3. Vertical orientation/ Portrait
  4. Full name & teacher in pencil on the back
  5. Feel free to sign your art work (still put name & teacher on the back)
Tips for a good cover:
  1. Not a lot of white space – use lots of color
  2. Use up the whole sheet of paper (leaving a 1/8" edge)
  3. Please note an edge of .625 (1/8”) may be trimmed off.  Extending your artwork into the edge is fine, but don’t use important words/ designs in these areas.

Winner selected by committee.  Winner & winner’s teacher will receive a free Dundee Yearbook.  Participants will get honorable mention in the yearbook.

Please turn all art work into the Dundee art teacher – Sara B-Haynes by Wednesday, January 25th.  No late entries will be accepted.
