Ms. Milleson, the library specialist at Dundee, presented an overview of her curriculum from the Common Sense Education's Digital Citizenship program. Lessons with the students include cyberbullying, digital footprints, protection of privacy, and intellectual property. You can take a look at the curriculum on Common Sense's website here. Dundee and Ms. Milleson are working to have Dundee certified as a Digital Citizenship School.
The Omaha Public School's change to the Transportation Plan was discussed at length as well. You can see more information about it here, but basically it will allow some students to now have bus rides to school, but will remove bus services from other students. The changes take place for the 2017/2018 school year.

Ms. Kennedy gave an update on Sabrina Andersen, music teacher Mrs. Andersen's daughter. After a bone marrow transplant, Sabrina relapsed on Day 91. She is now undergoing a new treatment. Dundee PTO, teachers, staff, and students are working on a number of ways to support the Andersen family to help with expenses at the hospital in Cincinnati and here at home.
