They told us all about their video efforts to showcase the wonderful things that are happening in Nebraska's public schools - and asked for Dundee parents to contribute ideas about what makes our school so great.
You can check out the videos and the mission behind Nebraska Loves Public Schools on their website. It's worth spending some time on - there are many wonderful and moving videos that will make you proud to have your kid attending a public school in Nebraska.
In other PTO news from last night:
- The One School One Book campaign is in full swing with the book Charlotte's Web. Each student has a copy of the book and they are reading the book both in class (and are encouraged to read it at home as well.)
- The 5th graders are performing their ballroom dances this afternoon at school. They learned 20 different dances!
- The teacher grants have been distributed and they are thankful for the money that went to materials used in math, literacy, and technology for the classrooms.
- The garden project on the north side is coming soon. It looks like work will likely start in the spring.
A reminder that there is no PTO meeting in December, but we will have craft night instead! Look for additional info about that event coming soon.
